Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a site. They help sites remember preferences, keep you signed in, and understand basic usage. We may also use related storage such as local browser storage for similar purposes (for example remembering a chat session on your device).

We currently use cookies and storage in these categories:

• Strictly necessary (cookies) — signed session cookies doa_admin_session and doa_client_session keep you logged in to the dashboard and/or client portal (including both at once). These cookies are httpOnly and are not used for advertising. Typical lifetime: up to about seven days unless you sign out earlier.
• Cookie notice acknowledgement (local storage) — key doa_cookie_notice_ack records that you dismissed the on-site cookie notice in this browser. It is not used for advertising.
• Public chat session (local storage) — key doa_chat_session stores a conversation id and access token on your device so your browser can continue a public chat thread you started. Clear site data to remove it. Anyone with access to that device storage could continue the chat until you clear it.

We do not currently set third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on the DOA marketing site. If we add analytics or marketing pixels later, we will update this policy and, where required, add consent controls.

• Authenticate users and protect accounts
• Maintain session state across pages
• Remember optional UI state such as an open chat thread
• Record that you have seen our cookie notice
• Support security controls (for example rate limiting signals tied to your visit)

Session cookies typically last for the signed-in period we configure (currently up to about seven days unless you sign out earlier). Local storage for chat and the cookie notice acknowledgement remains until you clear it or we replace the stored value.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, login and portal features will not work. You can also clear local storage for this site to reset chat state and show the cookie notice again.

Our on-site banner is an acknowledgement for essential cookies, not a marketing-tracker consent wall.

We may update this Cookie Policy when our practices change. The “Last updated” date will reflect revisions.
